Anita Andersen, 65, of Winter Haven, FL, died Thursday, April 11, in hospice in her sleep. She lived in Fords, NJ until her marriage to Joseph Gallucci and resided in Rutherford, NJ. After her divorce, she married Jack Farina, and lived in Clifton, NJ, until his death in 1999, when she moved to Martha’s Vineyard, MA for a few years, then settling in Largo, FL, where she lived for many years. She recently spent some time in Long Valley, NJ, and finally moved to Winter Haven, FL.
She is predeceased by her father, Walter C. Andersen, and her husbands. She is survived by her mother, Irene B. Edwardsen Andersen Satow, and her sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Mark Beck, all of Long Valley, NJ.
Anita graduated from Woodbridge High School in NJ. She was a homemaker and bartender. She studied Master Gardening, Reiki, and massage therapy. She loved music and animals having a black mixed-breed dog named Rufus, and a Yorkie named Misty. She was a long-time volunteer at United Methodist Church thrift shops in Seminole, FL and in Califon, NJ. She was a 23-year survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
