Alicia Jeanne Young, age 75, of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born on January 12, 1948 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Alicia lived most of her adult life in Arizona where she worked as School Superintendent. She was a member of Mystery Writers of America as well as Sisters in Crime. In 2006 Alicia moved from Holbrook, Arizona to Central Florida.
Alicia is predeceased by her mother Dorothy Long. She is survived by her husband Larry Young of Lake Alfred, FL, son James Robinson of Marshall, MI, step-son Terry Young of Mulberry, FL, step-daughter Tammy Wilson of Mulberry, FL, step-son Kevin Young of Mulberry, FL and brothers Richard Long of Warsaw, IL, Buddy Long of Casa Grande, AZ and Carver Long of Keokuk, IA. She also leaves behind her grandchildren along with a multitude of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
