Stanley Augustus Elliott

Friendly and outgoing, he led an exciting life as a young man, having the first car on the island of St. Kitts. He became known to his friends as "608", the license plate of his car. He was the father of 12 children.

In 1970 Stanley moved to New York where he became a naturalized citizen. He worked as an electrician for Ward Leonard and NYC Transit Authority. In 1981 he relocated to Orlando Florida, with then wife Lola Elliott. He received his GED and moved on to a career as a Master Electrician, working for Orange County. After retirement he stayed active and engaged as a locksmith and notary working out of his home. His hobbies included sharing a drink or dining out with friends, photography, going to flea markets, and regularly attending bible study.

Stanley loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed being in the company of friends and the fellowship of his church family. He was honest to a fault, a straight forward, no nonsense kind of man. He was also loving, kind hearted, and generous with his time and resources. He loved planning outings and giving his grand children candy, gifts and money...anything to put a smile on their faces.

Stanley was a dedicated member of Solid Rock United Methodist Church, where for many years he served as an usher and the church's official photographer. He also loved to show off his culinary skills by baking the annual Thanksgiving turkey. He enjoyed serving the Lord and being of service to others. He leaves an emptiness in all of our hearts.

Stanley is survived by his sisters Rita, Carmen, and Lucia. His brothers Errol "Sax", and Warren "Boots". Daughters Denise, Sandree, Lenore, and Julia. Sons Stanley Jr., Everton, LeRoy, Vernon, Moses, Allistor, Clive and Glenford. And his precious grandchildren Denasio, Deros, Denielle, Jada, Tiffiny, Hailee, Sidney, Felicia, Debra, Cleo, LeRoy Jr, Trevor, Hashim, Jabari, Jordan, Celina, and Clevorn.
