Ruth Zanella, 90 of Orlando passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2017. She was born in Biloxi, MS on March 2, 1927. Ruth moved to Orlando in 1972 from Massachusetts with her husband. Once in Orlando, she worked for Walt Disney World in Security. She was a homemaker and spending time caring for her family was a large part of her life. Ruth enjoyed bowling, traveling with her husband and was an expert seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert C. Zanella. She is survived by her children: Robert P. (Mary) Zanella and Deborah J. (Monte) Lott; her sister, Joyce (Mel) Jenner, one grandson, Robert C. Zanella II and one great grandson, Robert P. Zanella II.
A Graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 23 at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
