Robert “Bob” Cole was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on August 27, 1957, and grew up in Bucks County, PA in Morrisville. His parents were the late Neal Cole and Elaine Simpson Cole.
He graduated from Morrisville High School, and North Carolina Wesleyan University and moved to the Orlando, Florida area to pursue his career in restaurant management for 25 years. He would then later go on to work for Orange County Public Schools for more than 15 years in Finance.
Apart from Bob’s career, he was a Mason and an avid phonograph collector and went to many shows all over the country because he enjoyed it that much. He was also a long-time member of the Corvette Club of Orlando, was involved in the Boy Scouts with his sons, and was a coach for their teams in soccer, basketball, and most recently a coach for their baseball teams at the Windermere Little League.
Robert is survived by his sons, Daniel Cole, and David Cole, both of Ocoee, FL; a brother Randall Cole and his wife Trudy Cole of Medford, New Jersey; a Cousin Laurie Brooks and her husband James Brooks of Mount Dora, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bob, and details will be sent to family and friends soon in the mail or by text message.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Robert’s name, in lieu of flowers.
