Robbie was born on June 5,1956 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to John Walter Yurchick and Helen Lucy (Groncki) Yurchick. He graduated from Highlands High School in Natrona Heights. After graduation he worked for PJ Greco Sons Salvage Yard and Tomson’s Scrap Metal. Shortly after, he started a family that included 2 daughters, Mialee and Miranda.
Robbie was a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He was a natural athlete and loved playing in the local softball league. Robbie’s expertise was cars. After moving to Leesburg, Florida, Robbie began his automobile career working for Budget Rent a Car in Leesburg. He continued his career at Jim Rathmann Chevrolet before taking his knowledge of the industry to Carmax. While working for Carmax, Robbie traveled to Butler Auto Auction in the Pittsburgh area where he met his future and forever bride, Michele.
They married and had 2 daughters, Rachel and Megan. Robbie was an extraordinary husband and devoted father. His favorite pastime was coaching Rachel and Megan when they played competitive softball. He often said that the best times of his life were on the field with his girls. He was a jokester with a heart of gold. His family meant the world to him.
He continued working in the automobile industry and established a name for himself. His knowledge gained him the respect of many in his field. He was most recently employed at Royal Auto and Truck Sales (Orlando), Royal Automotive (Orlando), and Tucker Sales & Leasing Services (Lauderdale Lakes).
Robbie is survived by his wife, Michele (Krivanek) Yurchick, daughters Mialee Yurchick, Miranda Hosterman (partner Chad), Rachel Yurchick, and Megan Yurchick. Grandchildren Justin and Hailee Hosterman. Sisters Phyllis Bargerstock and Barbara Yurchick. Brothers John Yurchick (Cathy) Lawrence Yurchick, and Ronald Yurchick (Lann). Along with several nieces and nephews.
Robbie joins his parents John Walter Yurchick and Helen Lucy (Groncki) Yurchick in heaven.
Robbie’s Celebration of Life will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden, FL on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 6pm.
