Nicholas Anthony Corvino

Nicholas Anthony Corvino was born on April 21st 1987 at Berwick Hospital, Berwick,Pa to the late Clarence Garrison and Sandra Harrington Garrison. His parents died in an auto accident July 19th 1991, he was 4 years old. Since that time he was raised by his Aunt/Mom Linda Harrington with the help from maternal grandmother and grandfather. He attended Berwick Area School District and Wyoming Valley West High School. He loved both areas. He was known at WVW HS as “Skrilla”. For his writing and rapping abilities. He even has a CD of his songs. He loved WWE wrestling, his favorites being Macho Man Randy Savage “ Oooooooo Yeah!!, Hulk Hogan and Kane. In 2006 he decided to move to Florida to be with his Mom. Obtained a job at Walt Disney World at EPCOT and started his education at Valencia Community College along with his ex-fiancé Mayra Ramirez. Graduating in May 2011. At that time he was already starting his studies at University of Central Florida in Political Science. Working in The Political Science Dept. between classes under the tutelage of Dr. Daniel Holsenbeck whom Nick admired and looked up too. Earning The Burnett Honors Medal, and as one of nine UCF students selected by UCF to serve as an “UCF Legislative Scholar” in 2012. Graduating with honors in 2013. He was also a member of Toastmasters International in Dr. Phillips.

Then his Political life began, and quickly. District Administrator for the Florida House of Representatives, Legislative Assistant for UCF, Legislative Scholar Fellow for the Florida House of Representatives, Law intern, Legislative intern for Florida Senator Marco Rubio. Central Florida Field Director for the campaign of Pam Bondi for Attorney General in Florida. Central Florida Regional Manager for CFO Jeff Atwater of the Florida Department of Financial Services. He worked for Central Florida Political Director for the election of Donald Trump. Advance lead of now Missouri Governor Eric Greitens. Final job was at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Taking just a small break from the political arena. He said many times during his Political career that he “missed working at Disney”.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Sandy Harrington Garrison, Maternal grandmother Joan M. Harrington, maternal grandfather James F. Harrington. Paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Ann) Garrison.

Nicholas is survived by his Mom-Linda Harrington of Windermere, Fl and her partner Sandra Kassner. Half sister Christa Garrison of Berwick, Pa. Maternal aunts and uncles: Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Laurie) Varner of Berwick, Pa, Mr. & Mrs. Donald (Terri) Gensil of Wapwallopen, Pa, Mr. & Mrs. Leland (Holly) Charles, Windermere, Fl, Mr. Brian Gensil of Berwick, Pa.

Paternal aunts and uncles: Mr. & Mrs. William (Pat) Porter of Milton, Pa. Mr. & Mrs. Ronald (Madelyn) Yost, Mr. & Mr. Gary (Carol) Siesko, Ms. Clarissa Seely and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Jolyn) Garrison all of Berwick, Pa.

He will be in the care of Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home. 428 East Plant St. Winter Garden, Fl 34787. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 18th 2017 at 6 PM. Funeral Services on Thursday October 19th, 2017 @11 AM. Burial will be at Winter Garden Cemetery after services. In lieu of flowers please give to your favorite charities.
