Mary Ann Everett was a loving wife, mother, nana, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. After surviving COVID/pneumonia in December, she fell ill to pneumonia again in June and passed away peacefully under hospice care on June 18, 2021.
She was born to the late Julius & Ellen Simon in Trenton, NJ on April 21, 1941. She grew up in NJ where she met her late husband, Elmer (Junie) Everett Jr. They were married for 52 wonderful years and together they had 2 children: Joyce and Karen. In addition, a chosen daughter, Stephanie.
Mary’s greatest love was spending time with family. She was strong, yet kind and nurturing - her beautiful smile, warm hugs and loving heart welcomed all. She was the best care giver - Mary and Elmer opened their home to others and always had someone living with them over the years including both their mothers, family and friends. The family relocated to Florida in February 1987. Elmer never met a stranger and together they built a strong foundation - their home was always a safe, happy place where everyone was welcomed with open arms.
Mary is survived by her daughters Joyce (Bobby), Karen (Eric), Stephanie, her brother Joe (Maia), her sisters Mae, Clara and Suzie, her grandchildren Ashley, Madison and Peyton, and her great grandchildren Statler, Scarlett and Everleigh.
