

September 21, 1931 – June 21, 2011
Surrounded by his family in his home in Apopka, Florida, Paul went peacefully to be with the Lord on June 21, 2011. Born to Rosa and William S. Nolin in Eufaula Alabama he attended Eufaula High School, where he was an excellent football player and graduated valedictorian of his High School Class. He graduated with honors from the University of Alabama with a degree in Physics, served in the US Army, and worked at Lockheed Martin where he retired after 34 years. He was an Eagle Scout and continued as a Boy Scout Troop Master and advisor for over 30 years, finally being awarded the Silver Beaver Award for Adult leaders. He was a Gideon who loved passing out Bibles in the jails, the local High Schools and College campuses as well as preaching 3rd Sunday Evening Services at the Orlando Rescue Mission. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and served in many leadership capacities within the church. Paul is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years, Sons, Steve (Lori), John(Laura) and Daughter Amy, as well as 4 grandchildren(Ashlee, Christopher, Joshua, Emily) and 2 great grandchildren (Skylar and Ashlynn). Brothers Avery Nolin(Sunset Beach California)and Huey Nolin (Louisville, Alabama) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother(Rosa Lee Nolin) and father(William S. Nolin) and his eldest Brother William.
Visitation will be at 1:00 followed by a service celebrating his life at 2:00, Saturday June 25, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Pine Hills 1400 N. Nowell Street Orlando, Fl 32808. His Graveside service will be conducted at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eufaula, Alabama on Tuesday June 28 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in His name to the First United Methodist Church of Pine Hills, Gideon’s Orlando Southwest Camp or Hospice of the Comforter.
