Mom, 
There isn't a day that doesn't go by that I don't think about you. You were a strong fighter until the very end. You are now with the Lord and Dad and that is where you should be. I miss you very much and always will love you.

 Here sit thinking and remember Granny the strong lady she was.  Trust me stronger that she looks. Try fighting her with that Oxygen mask. Granny you have brought smiles to alot of faces, and I will always remember you. Jesus is lucky to have you on his side. You and GrandPa have fun, no more chair to hold you back. Work in the garden and run threw the flowers. Love you and missing you.

On my last visit with Granny she shared a dream she had with me... I'd like to share it with you all in hopes that it will comfort you as much as it has me...I walked into her room and began to ask about how her night had been she began telling me about a dream she had that night. She woke sometime during the night dreaming she was drowning... as I sat there and watched her demonstrate the way she fought to free herself I saw the bravest woman I've ever known. She then begin to tell me how she had told Jesus that she couldn't dance with him just yet but that she would be back soon.  In the midst of all the arrangements & such I still think about it now knowing that she had made peace and was ready to be with Jesus & granddad again to share that dance she had talked with me about. You will be dearly missed Granny and we all love you so very much!

On my last visit wit Granny she shared a dream that she had with me and I'd like to share it with you all...I asked did she have a goodnight and she said yes but that she had a dream in which she had woke up drowning. In which she showed me how she was fighting to keep from drowning flailing arms, as she demonstrated it all. Then to my surprise she said that she had told Jesus that she couldn't stay and dance with him but that she would be back soon. I've found comfort in this dream as I replay the conversation over and over in my mind. I hope by sharing this my family member can to find comfort in it. I love you IDA BELL MCCALL!

My memories of Ms McCall are of her coming to Elba, AL to visit her daughter, Mary King & grandsons, Freddie and Mackie, and coming to church with them. She was a welcome addition to the church family when she would be with her Alabama family.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the McCall family as they mourn her passing.  May God comfort all of you and know that she is resting in His arms forever.

On my last visit with Granny she told us all of a dream she had I'd like to share it with you all... she had been dreaming of someone pouring water over her head and she woke as if she were drowning. As we watched her go through the motions of fighting back from drowning she said she told Jesus that she couldn't dance with him just yet  but that she would soon be back... WE ALL HAVE TO BE THANKFUL THAT SHE KNEW WITHOUT A DOUBT WHERE SHE WOULD BE GOING!! Now she is dancing with Jesus & granddad...and I'm sure it is a joyous occasion...all my love to you Granny!

I had the honor of meeting Ms. Ida Belle McCall who I, my wife and my children endearingly call Granny.  She left an impression that was seared in our memories forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family as they mourn her passing and celebrate the moments they were blessed to share with her.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
