Words cannot begin to express how much you will be missed. Your cousins are shocked and saddened. Taken too soon but never forgotten. We all love you very much, always and forever.

Ian was the closest family I've ever lost💔His loss has  reminded me to never take my family for granted. I will miss your laugh and the times we did spend together. You will live on in my heart forever cuz.

My brother.I love when he would hug me with his stinky body after work and refused to let me go.He did it everyday even though I got mad every time but I could never stay mad at him for long and he couldn’t either.will forever miss you Ian❤️

It’s  such a special love you feel for your grandchildren.   You won’t know what I mean until you become a grandparent.  I’ve always been in his life, from the moment my daughter gave birth to him and I heard him cry.  I gave him his first bath, baby sat on weekends and cried me a river of tears when they moved to Alaska at the age of 4 along with his little brother, every time I found a little match box car somewhere in the apartment.  Always visiting and checking on them wherever they were living at the time.   He was living with me and his mom and brother and sister in Florida.  He loved living in Florida, loved wearing slide sandals year round, detailing his vehicles in the driveway, playing with his dogs, movie nights with the family.   I miss you Ian, I miss you so much !!! Who’s going to break my sprinkler heads now, and open and close the garage door a bunch of times a day, leave clothes, towels and powder all over the floor ?   I miss your smiling face, your laugh, making sauce and pasta for you !  My heart is broken 💔. Rest in eternal peace  my sweetheart 🙏🏼. Until we meet again in heaven !

From the legos, to the dirtbikes, to the drastic move to florida, to you always trying to size me up when I walked by you… wouldn’t want to have done it with anyone else. Love you Ian and I’ll see you soon, this isn’t a goodbye but a see you later brother.

On trails, you’d hold up the rear and keep an eye on your little brother during our weekend rides. Always the first to respond when Jarrett’s wheels would get stuck and pull him out.

When I took a bad spill and my quad wouldn’t start, so you hauled both me and the quad back to the trailer using only a set of bungee cords. Saving your dad from the humiliating walk of shame back to our rendezvous point. We got my quad running again and back to the trails we went. We would go for random cruises in the SUV listening to music and loving how the bass hits. I miss you so much son.

Garage pals forever and always. From before you were even school age, you were holding a light so I can see under the car better. You learned to differentiate between different size wrenches, sockets , chucks, and anvils very quickly. Passed me the appropriate size and type of screwdriver. You helped me keep track of the nuts and bolts and what car or motorcycle part they belong to. You and Jarrett also helped me washed and detailed our cars. You and Jarrett were always the very first faces I’d see coming home before you guys got older leaving that role to your little sister. There was no greater remedy than coming home from work exhausted and seeing your smiles before the garage door had a chance to fully open.

Our hearts share your pain. We support you in this time of sadness and grief with all of our love. Our beloved nephew/cousin Ian was a bright gift  to anyone he came across. He had a spirit that thoroughly enjoyed life. Grief lasts a long time.  Know that we will walk hand in hand with you always. We love you more than we can say and hold you in a virtual embrace during this difficult time.

I wanna start by wishing my deepest condolences to my aunt Lizzy and the family for the all things she is going thru . It’s break my heart to know that my little cousin isn’t with us anymore but I know that had grown up to be a great young man. Ian always had a big heart for anybody that was in his life . when we were kids Ian would tell me the name of every hot wheels cars he had I always knew he had a big love for cars and bikes. My sincere condolences to Liz, Ian Sr. Garrets and Isabella. His grandmother Iris , Christina his aunt and Jaime , his cousin and the rest of the family. I first saw  Ian when he was 5 or 6 years old . He would run after his grandmother Iris to catch the bus home , calling her as he ran. I thought what a cute little boy he was, little did I know I would end up loving him like my other grandchildren. I will miss every day and pray that he will RIP, to his family be strong and keep his memory alive in your hearts , as will I.

Words can't express how I feel.Life isn't fair sometimes but this really isn't. I'm filled with so many emotions right now. You're supposed to be here. I'm supposed to protect you, love you and even piss you off when we are not in agreement. We should be creating memories just like this last photo we took. Had I known this would be our last moment of happiness, I would have held you longer or snapped a hell of a lot more photos.  There was so much more I wanted to do but God had other plans for you. Maybe he needed a great son. Maybe he needed a great big brother. Maybe he needed a great grandson. Maybe he needed a smart ass at the gates of heaven. Maybe he needed a mechanic. Maybe he needed someone that was blunt with his words. Maybe he needed someone who is smart, witty and good with his hands. I don't know what the reasoning for all this is but you will forever be in my heart.

My baby Ian. I love and miss you tremendously. My heart is in pieces. You are more than my son. You are my best friend. You gave me advice and was always there whenever I needed you. You helped raise your younger siblings and guide them in life. You made me be the person I am today, strong and independent. We had soo much more we we’re gonna do together. Your time was cut way tooo short. We were always there for each other. I will never give up on finding the truth. I know you’re peacefully in Gods hands. You’ll forever be my baby boy. Oh sweet Ian... you loved your momma. Definitely the definition of "Mommas Boy"  Your parents love you more than life itself. Your siblings adored you & it absolutely showed. I remember one night in Stafford you just got your first car... you were hurrying home to beat curfew when you got pulled over ... we ALLLLL know that cop just wanted to see that nice car your momma just bought you 😂🤣.

Ian was like a little brother to me. Although I only knew him for just over a year we became family immediately. I met Ian over an issue he was having with his truck that we resolved and we shared the same hobbies. Ian was a man of his word and always had my back in a time of need. We relied on each other for advice on decisions that we made in our day-to-day life. In the short period of time I spent with Ian I saw him accomplish a ton. He enjoyed his vehicles and loved his family. 

Ian made an impact on the people who surrounded me and I am grateful for the memories we all share and that we crossed paths in life. We will always miss Ian’s energetic personality and laugh.

When I first met Ian. We were at the Gabriel Iglesias comedy show and I can just remember his smile.
