Hematt was born on November 16, 1953 in Morne diablo, Trinidad & Tobago. There he married the love of his life, Margaret Mohan in 1974. There they started a family together, migrated to Canada, then to the United States where the second part of his adult life began. Over the next 35 years, being the hard-working man that he was, started his own construction business while being a dedicated father to three amazing children, a loving husband, a dear friend and confidante. Over the years, he obtained the most fitting and rewarding title as ‘Grandpa’. He loved all his grandchildren so very much. Hematt also enjoyed music (singing and playing guitar/quatro), watching and playing golf, traveling, and being outdoors. But most of all, he enjoyed being surrounded by his loved ones. He will be truly and deeply missed by his family and friends.
