He was born on December 28, in Albany, New York, a son to the late Edward A. and Minna Schultz Nash.
After high school, Ed honorably served in the United States Army. Ed was stationed in Korea, during the Korean War. Thereafter, he was a senior chauffeur for the Commissioner of Education in Albany, New York. He will always be remembered as having a great personality and was always trading jokes with his nephews and other family members.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Sharon Aldi Nash; two daughters, Patty Smoot and Kimberly Beckman; two brothers, Robert and Timothy Nash; seven Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by one brother, James Nash.
