Born on February 19, 1939, he lived a life filled with love, hard work, and a passion for the great outdoors. Curry is survived by his beloved wife, Maragaret Blitch, two daughters, Deborah Pope and Deanna Blitch; and son, Anthony Blitch. He was a cherished Papa to Lillie Pope and Haley Merbach and a Great Papa to Cohen. He also leaves behind his brother, Lenard Blitch, and numerous extended family members and friends. Curry dedicated over 33 years of his life to FMC, while also running several successful businesses with his brother-in-law, Hubert Simmons. A man of God, he exemplified a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to family and friends.
His love for the farm life led him to enjoy fishing, hunting and camping - activities that brought him joy and peace in nature. Known for his positive outlook on life, Curry never spoke ill of anyone and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His remarkable ingenuity meant that there was hardly a problem he couldn't solve, earning him the reputation as an engineer in his own right.
Above all, Curry's greatest love was for his family. He cherished his wife and children deeply and had an unwavering love for people.
A memorial grave side service to honor Curry's life will be held on December 18, 2024, at 11:00am at the Winter Garden Cementary, 13636 Lake Butler Blvd., Winter Garden. FL 34787. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the remarkable life he lived and profound impact he had on those around him. As always, Curry's home will be open for anyone that wants to come by after the service to spend time with the family.
