Charles was born June23,1936 In Madison, Florida to Charles David Peek, Sr and Lillian Hinton Peek.
He attended school in Chattanooga, TN where he graduated in 1954. He began UT Knoxville and started aa a co-op student with EPB the same year. He graduated from UT in 1959 with an Electrical Engineering Degree. In 1956, he met his wife-to-be DeeAnn Ulrickson and they were later married in September of 1958. They had one son, David Wayne Peek born in February of 1961. Charles worked for the EPB from 1954-1987, and then became Business Administrator for City Church of Chattanooga, retiring in 2004.
Charles was a godly man who loved the Lord, and his family. He was full of wisdom and had a close relationship with God. In March of this year his wife DeeAnn went to be with the Lord, and on July 14th Charles quietly slipped away to be with the love of his life. Although he is missed here by those of us left behind we know in our hearts he is happy and filled with joy to be reunited with DeeAnn and to finally see God face to face.
