Bobby Wayne Lanier, age 77 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2012. He was born in Durham, North Carolina on June 10, 1934 to Wayne and Gertrude Lanier. Bobby served proudly in the United States Navy for 8 years. He was honorably discharged. He was a truck driver for over 40 years. He also worked for Universal Studios for 6 years. Bobby is survived by his 4 children: Linda (Takis) Chondrogiannis of Montverde, FL, Robert Lanier of Port St. John, FL, Jeri (Larry) Byrd of Orlando, FL and Thomas Lanier of Ponce de Leon, FL. He has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, March 31, 2012 @ 11:00, Gotha, Florida.
