Born November 16, 1964, date of death November 8, 2012. BJ was a wonderful wife, mother and encourager and most of all, a best friend to her husband Randy of 23 years. She will be dearly missed by him and her sons, Nathan and Scott as well as her future daughter-in-law Grace, as well as all others whose lives were enriched by her presence.
BJ's life was dedicated to her family and church. She was enjoyed and embraced by many friends. She unselfishly served others through various missions and outreach programs. BJ's life was packed full of love, laughter, caring, hope, and steadfast faith. Not only did she profess to be a believer in Christ, she lived as one. She was a graduate of The Ohio State University.
She is survived by, husband Randy, sons Nathan and Scott, mother, Alberta Steck, brothers Jim (Dianne) Steck, Tom (Susan) Steck, sister Sue Steck, brother-in-law Duane (Madeline) Brazell, sister-in-law Karen (Jeff) St. Charles and father-in-law Stanley Brazell as well as numerous nieces and nephews and “aunt” Colonel Mary Kuntz. She was a blessing to and was cherished by her many Christian caring friends whom she considered family. She is preceded in death by her father Marion Steck and mother-in-law Linda Brazell.
A Celebration of BJ’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 4:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Winter Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either The First Baptist Church of Winter Garden Youth Ministries mailed to 125 East Plant St., Winter Garden, FL 34787 or Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund with checks made payable to First United Methodist Church and mailed to Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund, PO Box 770446, Winter Garden, FL 34777-0446.
