Angel L. Andino, 88 of Mt. Dora, FL went home to be with his Lord on June 14, 2016. He was born on June 29, 1927 in Cantano, Puerto Rico. Angel retired from Grumman Aerospace Company as a Chemical Engineer and one of his achievements was working on the Lunar Escape Module for NASA. He was a devoted member of Resurrection and St. Patrick Catholic Parishes. He had served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lay Minister and a Prison Minister for his church. Angel was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Sixta Andino on July 24, 2013 and by his son, Angel Andino Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Santoro and her husband Frank; Diana Fasano and her husband Bob; his brothers, Tono Andino and Nicholas Antonio Andino; his sisters, Josephine Rosado and Emilia Casadis and by his 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:30 PM on Friday, June 17 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18 at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora, FL. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
