Rudolph Omega Rogers, 89 or Fairview North Carolina, formerly of Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday, Dec 13, 2017 at Fleshers-Fairview Healthcare center. He was born April 7, 1928 in Harnett County. To Herman C. and Onie Dean Rogers. He attended Campbell College and graduated from Wake Forrest University in 1949. Mr. Rogers retired from the North Carolina Department of Revenue after 40 years of service. He was a longtime member of Reynolda Presbyterian Church, where he served in several leadership roles, including as an elder. He went on 17 building and medical mission trips to the Caribbean. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice C. Rogers, a grandson, Jeremy Curtis and a brother, William Rogers. Surviving are a son, Steve Rogers (Angela), a daughter, Alice T. Curtis (Mark), four grandchildren Elizabeth R. Mizelle (Ron), Michael S. Rogers, Joshua Curtis, and Hannah Curtis, and eight great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park. A Memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, Dec. 18. The Family will receive friends at the church following the church.
