Jean Adkins Rhymer passed away on December 28, 2021. Jean was a devoted wife, caring mother, and adoring grandmother. She doted over her family and cherished every moment with them.
Jean worked as a seamstress for Hanes Hosiery for 39 years. She enjoyed living in North Carolina and walking through the woods in search of artifacts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Vergie Adkins, and loving husband of 60 years, Jerry Everette Rhymer. Jean leaves behind her children, Larry Rhymer and Tammy Rhymer; grandchildren, Missty Holleman, Krystal Miraglia, Brandy Rigsby, and Eric Rhymer; and 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at 3pm at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastor Patrick Marion officiating.
