James Melvin Hunter Jr., 85, of Winston Salem went to meet his Lord and Savior on November 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by a son, James M. Hunter, III and a brother, Keith Hunter. Surviving are his wife, Yvonne Hunter, daughter, Emma Elizabeth Hunter; stepsons, Kenneth Farley (wife, Leesia) of Winston-Salem, Greg Engrem (wife, Sara) of Versallies, Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Kim Weber (husband, John) of Winston-Salem; 3 brother, Dr. William Hunter (wife, Marymorgan), Dr. Barrett Hunter (wife, Gail) of Jonesboro, GA. and Eric Hunter (wife, Sandra) of Advance, NC. He had 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2021 at Bethania Moravian Church.
