Winston-Salem- Miss Hilda Louise Taylor, 86, formerly of Walkertown, passed away June 1, 2012 at Danby House Assisted Living. A graveside service will be at Love’s United Methodist Church on Monday, June 4, at 11 AM with Reverend Glenn S. Griffiths, OSL officiating.
She was born in Forsyth County to the late Hilary Wilson and Minnie Welch Taylor. She was employed by RJ Reynolds as an accountant for 27½ years. Miss Taylor enjoyed sewing, quilting, was an avid reader, and took tremendous interest in genealogy. She was a member of Love’s United Methodist Church for over forty years.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Taylor of Walkertown; nieces and their spouses, Wanda and Scott Ader of Lexington and Dawn and Brian Ader of Fayetteville; two great nieces; two great nephews; and three great great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Wesley Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel on Sunday, June 3, 2012.
