David was hard working and independent. He had many hobbies throughout his life like fishing, golfing, and bowling, but his favorite thing to do was to watch and pull for the Miami Dolphins
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Street. He leaves behind his children, Scottie (Nicole) Street, Matthew (Brittany) Street, Elizabeth Street, and Karlie Street; grandchildren, Theodore Street, James Street, and Hudson Tillison; siblings, Robert Dutton, Dolores (John) St. George, Thurman “Corky” (Debbie) Street, Sandra (Cliff) Spriggs, Shelia (Craig) Stanley, and Glenda (Dwayne) Yokely; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 11am at New Hope Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service at 10 am. David will be entombed at Forsyth Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
