Bradley Christopher Michael of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on October 24, 2022. Brad was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was loyal and giving, and he was fiercely protective of all those he loved. His friends and family say that he had friends everywhere he went.
Brad was born on November 11, 1969, in Martinsville, Virginia to Fredrick Michael and Saundra Little. The family moved soon thereafter to Winston-Salem, where Brad grew up. He was a 1988 graduate of RJ Reynolds High School and later from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Although he lived many different places during his adult life, he returned to Winston-Salem, which he always considered his home.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louise and Roy Little, and by his paternal grandparents, Celestine (“Judy”) Michael and Herman Michael. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his adoring wife, Lynn Patterson Michael, as well as his step-children, Jesse Gargis and Mary Katherine Gargis, whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by his parents, his siblings Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael (Teresa), Lisa Michael and Elizabeth “Beth” Shannon (Robert); his nephew, Justin Michael, and his grandnephew, Henley Campbell, as well as by countless, close friends.
Brad’s friends and family will all miss him dearly. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held on Sunday, October 30, at 2 PM at Vogler Funeral & Cremation at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road. The family will receive guests immediately following the service. Brad was one of the truly good men in this world and he was taken too soon. His passing leaves a void which will never be filled.
All yours always, LpM.
