In everyone's life there are those who are present and those who inspire. On the morning of February 28th, 2022, Ronald Hallock passed away and left behind a legacy of education that has inspired thousands of people over his 45-year teaching career and had the honor of being bestowed many top awards and accolades; locally, provincially and nationally.
His greatest passion was his dedication of 55+ Years to the Manitoba football official association. His mentorship spanned decades and even landed him into the Manitoba amateur football hall of fame as well as the Canadian national amateur football hall of fame. To those he will be missed, mourned, and reflected upon as being one of the special ones.
His family, who has lost a brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather held a celebration of Ron's life on March 9th, 2022, to remember how he impacted their lives and the void that he leaves behind. In reflection he will be never forgotten in their hearts. Ron leaves behind his sons Darryl (Michelle) and David (Rob); ex-wife Nancy; brother Rick (Diane) and sister Lorraine along with his granddaughters Emily and Madison as well as his nephew’s and niece’s.
Life is a journey that takes each of us to highs and lows and along the way we get to experience each other’s contributions to the world. We would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” goes to the WFPS and the great staff at Deer Lodge, St. Boniface hospital and Cancer Care who cared for Ron in his final days.
