It is with deep sorrow Bob’s family
announces his passing on March 15th 2016. He is survived by loving wife Dorothy (nee Willson), daughter Lorna Sanderson (Alex), and daughter Isla Chartrand (Terry), Grandchildren Jennifer Sanderson and children Lenea and LilyAnn, James Sanderson (Ashley) and children Dylan, Ethan and Madison, Kandel Linklater (Vince) and daughter
Alairah, Megan Chartrand (Jason), Kyle Chartrand (Tanya), Katie Chartrand (Aaron). Siblings: Flora Holdsworth, Shirley Ryan, Kathleen Wiebe, Margaret Littlejohn (Lyle), Barrie (Shirley), Sister-in-law Margaret Boyle, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a school psychologist at the Child Guidance Clinic of Greater Winnipeg for20 years and the Coordinator of Student Services in Fort Garry School Division until 1984. His skills, wisdom and vision for all children but most especially for those with exceptionalities were beyond measure. He was an articulate, well read man who supported and worked in a number of professional organizations. He particularly enjoyed his work in the Caribbean as a tutor and team leader for O.C.O.D. He was a powerful and much loved mentor to his family and friends. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Accent Care, Care at Home Pharmacy and the Hospital and Home Team of River East Access who enabled Bob to stay in his own home as he wished. A memorial service and reception will be held at Klassen Funeral Home 1897 Henderson Highway, Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will follow the service.
