He is survived by his wife Carol (Taylor) of 35 years, his son (Robert) Bradley Pinkerton (Kelly), stepson Gordon Taylor (Nicolette) and his dearly loved grandchildren Hayden and Callie Pinkerton, his sister Kathleen Peterson (Jack), nephew John Peterson (Kathleen, Sam, Riley, Isaac, Kale), and, niece Jane Van Massenhoven (John, Blake, Luke ).
John was predeceased by his parents, Brenda and George Pinkerton.
As per John’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
