Robert William Karpiuk

KARPIUK, Robert William born December 15, 1955, peacefully passed away on March 17,2025 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the Maples Long Term Residence.

Robert was born in Winnipeg to William and Mrytle, he attended and graduated from Daniel McIntyre High school and retired from his career at Palliser Furniture in Winnipeg. Robert was a reserve member of the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders and enjoyed his service to the Minto Armory at the rank of Master Corporal.

Robert was preceded in death by his father William and mother Myrtle, and is survived by his sister Jordan Mckenzie and his nephews Cory Tait (Michelle); and Jesse Leonard (Nicole). Robert is survived by close lifelong friend Chris Murash (Terry); and her children Brenda Cook (Shane McGarry) and Cathy Cook (Justin Metzger).

Robert was a quiet and reserved man but he took great pleasure in spending time with those closest to him. A private ceremony will be held in Robert’s honor for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your preferred charity.
