He was predeceased by his wife Yvette on May 16, 2016; parents Susan and Joseph Hay; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Dennis Berkley-Cole; sister Marian Dryden; brothers Joseph (Dovey) and Hubert Hay; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Eva and Hank Perron; nephew Robert Perron; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Les and Marie Lafrance.
He is survived by brother-in-law Ken Dryden; sister-in-law Simonne Labaty; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Britain, Scotland and the United States.
He will be missed for his gentleness and keen sense of humour right up to the end.
As per Uncle Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
