It is with great sadness and and aching heart that I share the passing of one of our family members. Marina (nee Spitznagel) is pictured here with her Mom (Aunt Emma and the girls). I wish I had a more recent picture😞
I have known Marina since I moved to Winnipeg in 1991. She was my Grandma Katies' niece. Marina would have been 90 on December 7th. She was so supportive during my struggles with the divorce etc. She never hesitated to help when she could.
Kristie was the apple of her eye and safe to say she considered my girls as her own grandchildren. She loved spending time with all of us playing cards; Rummy and Skipbo. She was a realtor in Winnipeg, for many years. She was kind, caring, funny and an avid reader of the Free Press. I miss her so much already.
The stroke on the 8th was so unexpected. It has a huge impact on her ability to swallow. Seven Oaks staff was so supportive during her comfort care.
She passed on the 22nd in the afternoon with family at her side. We take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and has joined her parents and older brother in the Lord's' Kingdom.
Know you are forever missed, Marina, and we will never forget your loving smile. ❤️
God Bless and keep you. You were my angel here on earth.💕💐I know you will never be far away.💝
