(nee Kroeker)
November 14, 1917 ~ December 12, 2012
In the evening of December 12, Margaret left this world and joyfully entered her eternal home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
She is predeceased by her parents Peter and Katharina Kroeker, husband Henry, son Erdmann(Ed), daughter-in-law Aurla, four brothers, one sister, two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Left behind to dearly miss her is daughter Marilyn. Also sisters Kay(Horst) and Agnes, several in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Born in the village of St. Joseph in southern, Manitoba, she married Henry in 1937 and lived and farmed a few miles west of Altona until 1955 when the family moved to Winnipeg.
She was used to working hard and soon after settling in the city went to work at various factory jobs and then did domestic housekeeping work for quite a few years.
In the summer of 2009 she suffered a fall that resulted in irrepairable damage to one knee and was hospitalized for several months until she was able to get her room at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
Special thanks to the caring compassionate staff at the Bethania for all your cheerful caregiving. And thanks also to the friends and family who visited. Your company was very much enjoyed.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave. or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00am with viewing at 9:30am.
