Kenneth Sinclair Meiklejohn

Ken is survived by his children Susan (Rick) Kuffel, Gordon (Leanne) Meiklejohn, Donna (Chris) Lepa and Heather (Kevin) Meiklejohn; grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Thomas (Janique), Amanda, Michael, Johann, Jenna, Anna, Kayla, and Kirsten; and his great grandchildren Zack, and Bennett, and he was looking forward to two more on the way. He is predeceased by his wife Isabel, brothers Jack, and George, and sister Jean.

Ken grew up in Winnipeg with his family on Home Street and attended Daniel McIntyre High School. Ken worked at MTS for 35 years where he met many lifelong friends and his wife Isabel. Ken and Isabel were happily married for 55 years.

Ken was loved by all. He had a quick wit and always had a twinkle in his eye. He was an avid curler, golfer and fisherman. He could play any sport and do it well. He loved to watch all sports and share a fine scotch with family and friends. We will miss him so much.

A special thank-you to Carol his home care worker and Dr. Lowden for taking good care of him for many years.

A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2:00 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Amant Centre.
