I had the opportunity to work with Keith back when I was doing my PhD in the Botany department in the late 1990’s/early 2000’s. 

It was always so nice to walk into the office and have a few minutes to chat with Keith.  He was bubbly and enthusiastic, and I often walked away from our conversations feeling uplifted and energized. 

I wanted to express my deepest condolences to Keith’s friends and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. In his time as the administrative assistant in the Botany department, Keith could always be counted on to get things done. More importantly, his cheerful and good-natured presence was a welcome addition to the university community. I am sure he had the same positive impact in his community work at Siloam Mission My deepest condolences to his family.

Sadly Keith's passing comes as a shock.  Since my first day on campus Keith was someone whom I recognized as having a big heart, who cared about others, and who had a strong sense of honor.  I could always rely on Keith to have a job done, and done well.  More importantly, he was a true friend. We shared a love of barbeque, good food,  and good conversation.  I'm a better person for having known Keight

Due to COVID, I was unaware of Keith’s condition and I will truly miss him when I return to campus. He was helpful, optimistic, and always had time to say hello when we passed in the hallways. I enjoyed our few (too few) longer conversations and regret that there will be no more. I would like to pass on my sincerest condolences to his young family. As great as our loss is on campus, yours is much more.

I admired and respected Keith.  He refused to let racism and discrimination stand in his way. He was a gentleman and always polite, while assertively and steadfastly affirming his rights.  He prohibited some human rights violations from happening at this place of employment. He was a good mentor.  I am sorry for his passing. We need more people like Keith!

My sincere condolences to KT's wife, Tea and daughter Sydney and all his other family and friends who knew and loved him near and far.   

I met Keith when he would drive up from the airforce base to  Winnipeg on the weekends and hangout.   I  grew closer to him when he married my  cousin Dina of 24 yrs and helped raise her daughters, Nikki and Denielle.  He always made me smile and was great to be around with his witty sense of humour.  I will miss him dearly.  Rest in peace my brother, Love you Tracey Timm  and Family from Toronto

I have known KT for over 30 years, & sadly for us, he is “Gone too Soon”.  He always had a great smile and a joking nature, but could also be intense with a no nonsense manner when need be.  He was very knowledgeable and loved to debate and it was hard to compete with him because he loved talking.  He was an impeccable dresser, always looking like he was straight out of a GQ magazine.  He loved organizing and keeping things in order.  He loved sports, games and was very kind and helpful.  He was predeceased by his grandmother, Anabelle, mother Annette, Sister Nadine, Cousins Norma and Wayne.  Left to mourn are his sisters Lucinda, Vera, Sheila, Lena and Tuesday; and his brothers Johnny and Eric.  Keith was a deeply loved, blessed, supportive and dedicated husband, father and grandfather to Dina, Denielle, Nikki, Joe, Dante and Bianca.  KT was truly one of a kind.  I thank God and I am so Blessed to have known him and his beautiful smile that brightened up the room.  Much Love, KT - Jody Hall

I learned so much from my uncles. But KT showed me that it’s perfectly fine to do what’s best for me. My uncle was one of the freshest cats I knew. I always wanted to dress like KT I wanted to have the Honeys like KT. Thank you for helping my mom out with my siblings and I. We was a lot to deal with yet we are family and no matter what you did what was right by us. From gifts to whoopings lol. I pray for your peace, I pray that the angels receive you with open arms
