He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Valerie, his children Garry, Mervin, Jessica, and Jolene, many brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws as well as mother-in-law Bertha Goftlot.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph Head Sr. and mother Lillian Head (nee Henderson).
Joe was born and raised in The Pas, MB (O.C.N.). Joe touched many lives with his laugh and smile and kind heart. He loved the lord and enjoyed attending his church (Gateway Community Church) and reading his bible.
He will be deeply missed by many including his co-workers.
Viewing will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy 1 East at Navin Road on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
