John Vogt

October 5, 1928 – August 22, 2013

With sadness and peaceful hearts we announce the passing of John Vogt. After a lengthy illness

he is now in his heavenly home.

John leaves his devoted wife of 61 years Mary, sons John (Shelagh) and Ernie (Carol) and daughter Eleonore (Peter). Opa will be missed by his grandchildren Matt (Helga), Melanie (Evan) and two great grandchildren, Adam (Chelsea), Katie, Johanna, David and Connor and stepbrother Werner Epp.

John enjoyed his years as Head of Respiratory Therapy at Concordia Hospital. John and Mary enjoyed their many trips to Hawaii.

John held onto God’s hand and his faith in God was a solace to him.

Funeral services will be at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 at 11:00 am
