Joan leaves behind her only daughter, Nicole Watson. Joan was predeceased by her father Edgar, mother Violet, and brothers Frank, Lloyd, and Neville. Also to mourn with Nicole is Joan’s siblings: Roy, Una, Rita, Verna, Elaine, Myrna, Enid, Wilma, Arthur, Janice, twin brother Joseph as well as many of Joan’s nephews and nieces.

Special thanks to Wilma and Hugh Corbin, Jacqueline Alexander, the doctors and nurses of E6 at the St. Boniface Hospital, as well as the many family and friends in Canada, the US and the Caribbean.

The funeral service will be held on June 9, 2012 at 11:00am at Faith Temple (968 Notre Dame Avenue), with a viewing aat 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation Inc. (787-4143).
