One summer she took a job in Red Lake, where she met the love of her life, Ted, who was her everything for 55 years. More than anything Jean loved children, not just her three, but foster children, her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and any baby that crossed her path.
Jean had a love for fashion and was always well dressed. She had a talent for design and could sew you any outfit, just from your description. She was a great quilter, and maker of stuffed animals.
After living in Red Lake for 32 years Jean and Ted retired to Winnipeg where their love for community and Church continued, through their numerous volunteer efforts.
