Harwinder Singh Dhaliwal

Harwinder was the first born son to Jaswant and Malkit Dhaliwal, grandson to Gurnam and Gurmail Dhaliwal. Throughout his younger years, Harv was always able to make friends and was known for his caring nature. Harv was the kind of guy that everyone counted on when things were going sideways and that never changed as he grew up. Harv was always only one call away for those that he loved.

Harv married the love of his life Kulwinder 17 years ago and together they were both blessed with a baby boy, Kaash Singh Dhaliwal.

Kaash and Kulwinder stole Harv’s heart and added a new purpose to his life. Kaash was his pride and joy, and Harv let anyone he ever met know this. Harv did everything in his power to make sure that Kaash was taken care of, from having the best clothes and haircuts, to ensuring that he excelled in school and participated in extracurricular activities. Harv would constantly tell his family that Kaash is the reason he was put on this planet and that Kaash made him a better person. Harv’s unconditional love for his family never went unnoticed.

Harv, your radiant personality and larger than life presence lit up every room you ever entered. People that didn’t know Harv might say that he had a rough exterior, but for those of us lucky enough to know him, knew that he had the heart of an angel. Harv wouldn’t hesitate to take the shirt off of his back to help those he loved and his actions made it evident that family meant everything to him.

Harwinder, you have touched the lives of many people, and you will truly be missed. You treated everyone as they were your family, and you were there for those that needed you. Your loving wife, son, parents, brothers, friends and family promise to never forget you and we hope that one day we’ll all be reunited as the family you so cherished.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 6 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Window viewing will take place from 12:30 - 13:30.
