Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Plomp Wagner

November 16, 1929 - February 23, 2011

On February 23, 2011 our devoted mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Laurie (Brian), Dianne (Tony), grandchildren Liz (Dave), Jamie (Jess), Kristy (Ian), Matthew (Shawna) and Mandy, great-grandsons, Christian, Willem and Ty, as well as her large extended family and many friends.

Grace was born in La Riviere, Manitoba to Willem and Winnifred Plomp, and was the youngest of their 10 children. In 1949, she wed the love of her life, Albert Wagner. They were married for 56 happy years until his passing in 2005.

Grace loved getting together for family reunions and enjoyed sharing her many fond memories. Her family was her greatest joy.

She spent many pleasant hours gardening, crocheting and visiting with the “Valhalla gals”.

The funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at 211 Kimberly Ave. on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating.
