He was 55 years old when he died suddenly at his residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Gord loved his sports, grew up playing hockey and soccer, coached by his dad. He was a true Manitoban, big Bomber and Jets fan but ever so proud of his Scottish roots.
Gord fought a hard battle this past summer after an accident in which Stars Ambulance played a major role in saving his life. His recuperation was done at his happy place, his cabin by the lake.
Thanks to Jacko & Carla for giving Gord a second home and to his many friends for their visits on the deck.
Gord love his golf, missing his Easy Rider tournament at Hecla for the first time in 25 years. He loved his fishing, relaying us with hilarious tales of his annual fishing trips.
We’d like to thank Mitch & JP for never giving up on Gord through his challenging time this past year. Alison & Jim for their never ending support.
Gord was predeceased by his father, George Glover in 1987. He leaves behind his mother, Olive, sister Elaine and brother in law Paul Gigliotti in Vancouver.
Many thanks to our friends who have become family. No service will be held. A memorial golf tournament will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favourite charity in Gord’s name.
