When I think of grampa, I see his kind smile and hear his warm laugh. He's a man of many stories, many of which he collected through his work experience as a telegram operator, taxi driver, and more. 
Grampa taught us that music is a great way to relax; he often enjoyed winding down to the tunes of artists such as Frankie Laine and Merle Haggard. He was also a die-hard Yankee fan, and we'd reminisce with him about their golden years and legendary players. 
When I play crib, I always think of grampa. He was quite good in his legion league. I like to think that I was taught to play by a crib expert. After all, he once sent me a list of the best crib hands in the mail.
I'm grateful for the passions Grampa helped me discover. He knew that it was the little things in life to treasure and enjoy, and I'm beyond grateful to have had him as my Grampa.

I will always remember the fond memories with my Grandpa.  Talking about bowling, current events and topics of interest and how his face would light up when he could talk about his passions.  He taught me how to play cribbage and the importance of having a budget and filing taxes on time.  Seeing him read the newspaper at some point during my visits was pretty much a guarantee.  I loved hearing his thoughts on what was going on in the world.   I will always cherish those memories.  
I’ll forever love you Grandpa.

Dad always was there to show me how to work hard, and to not quit. He was "that guy" who had people laughing as he entered any gathering. Dad knew how to make everyone smile. Dad's time spent growing up was not perfect; it was hard. He never talked about it. I don't know how many hundreds of times Dad told me "don't dwell on the past". His younger sister, Andrea; and oldest sibling,  Monty, were  loved(both deceased) deeply by Dad. Dad often worked one full-time job and an additional one, sometimes 2,part time  jobs to  make sure Neil and I would not go without. He would alway say"no sense of humour at all whatsoever" when people were in a dark  mood. I love you Dad, Good bye for now, till I get to glory and join you. Glenn

Dad was such a kind & caring man who loved all his family .  Whenever you came to visit he greeted you with  big warm hug & the same when you left.  It was so nice to hear him tell his stories about when he was younger, or about his weekly cribbage games.  He was very devoted to his dear wife Nancy for over 65 years.  Dad will never be forgotten.  He touched all our hearts.

I'll always be thankful for our time together, and the love and kindness you showed me.  You helped me learn to drive, and you were always there when I needed you.  I'll always remember the good times we had together, like when we saw Merle Haggard together.  You will truly be missed,
