Ezzat was born in Tehran on August 25, 1933, to father Abdollah Eshghi Esfahani and mother Jahan Eshghi Esfahani.
At age 16 his father became ill and became unable to work any longer.
To support his family, the youngest of three sons, Ezzat, started working at age 16. As result, he was not able to finish his high school on time. But few years later he successfully graduated from high school through evening classes. Soon after, he also completed a certificate in administrative banking system and got hired at Bank Melli of Iran.
He married Farideh Nazerian on June 15, 1960.
In early 70’s, he established a company to modernize traditional bread baking in Iran. His business was the first privately owned company to import bread baking machineries to Iran.
He is survived by his wife Farideh; children Ladan, Farid and Peyman ; grandchildren Sheena, Ali and Parshawn; great-grandson August; daughter in-law Ronak; granddaughter in-law Paige and grandson in-law Payam.
