Doris was born in Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld, Germany. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Maria Erb. Doris is survived by her brother Horst Erb and nieces and nephew. Sadly Doris' sister Senta Kiefer of Wisconsin passed just four days after Doris' passing.
Doris worked for many years at The Royal Canadian Mint and retired at an early age. Doris loved to shop, and enjoyed spoiling her dogs. Doris was very proud of her cottage at Hillside Beach where she loved to spend the summer months. Doris was well known at the lake for all of the various garden gnomes she enjoyed collecting. It would be an understatement to say that Doris loved Christmas and she would spend weeks getting her home and yard on Clifton Bay decorated at this time of the year. Perhaps it was befitting that she passed at her favourite time of the year.
