Mr. Donald Arthur Christie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Christie at the age of 63. Don is survived by his sisters Becky and Judy, brothers Alan and Kevin, stepbrother Keith, and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his sister Helen.

Don was known as a workhorse who was always willing to give anyone a hand who needed it. Don found joy in life by taking drives to Grand Beach, Lockport, and Weyburn to see Keith, playing cards and dice, eating amazing homecooked meals prepared by his sisters, fishing on the Red, and drinking Pepsi. One of Don’s favourite things to do was spoil his loved ones with candy and treats. Many of us were touched by Don and will miss his quirkiness and stories.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada.
