David Joseph Roulette (Aachiman) passed away peacefully at his residence in St Laurent,Manitoba, on September 14, 2023. At the age of 71, David leaves to mourn his children Kara Wolfe (Jason) Danielle Coutu, and Rodney Coutu (Helena) as well as his grandchildren Kacey (Chasy) Kaytlynn (Tyler) Kayden, Jeanelle, Kenue and Mila. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Juliet and Alice as well as his siblings, Matilda Roulette Behm (Lyndenn) Carl Roulette (Debbie) Hazel Roulette (Andrew). As well as, his aunt Mary Maruschuk, numerous Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and Cousins. David was also predeceased by his wife Via Flett Roulette and wife Nola Roulette, his parents Clements and Victoria Roulette; Siblings Sylvia Richard, Shirley Miller, Ernest Roulette and Clements “Randy” Roulette, and Evelyn Roulette.
David was born on December 21, 1951 in Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation. Where he later attended Sandy Bay residential school. David moved to Winnipeg where he resided for most of his life, working as a drywaller/taper. In his later years he then moved to St Laurent, where he resided until his last breath.
David loved music, in his younger years he would enjoy Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, and in his later years he loved gospel, David also loved playing his acoustic guitar. The family would like to give a huge thank you to the community of St Laurent for all their help and support in making sure David was well cared for.
