Darren Mitchell Gould

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son and brother, Darren Gould.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Dee-Dee, mother Agnes and sister Dona (Peter). He was predeceased by his father Dean. Darren passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at the age of 43.

Darren was born in Edmonton but moved to Winnipeg with his family at a very young age. He attended Fort Richmond Collegiate. As a teenager, he was very active on local hockey and swim teams. At the same time, he became heavily involved in golf and that passion lasted his whole life, first at Southwood and then at Bel Acres where was a member.

Darren loved to travel to tropical climates in the winter and liked to explore new countries. He was on the golf course whenever possible in the summer and enjoyed spending Saturday afternoons in the winter with his hockey draft friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 19th at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
