With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Brian Henderson, who peacefully departed on April 15, 2024, in the comfort of his home.
Brian is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years Alyce, along with four daughters, one son, six grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and four brothers.
Brian found joy in supporting his favourite sports teams, the Winnipeg Jets and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. An avid reader of the daily news, and listener of the local radio station, Brian stayed informed of current affairs. He dedicated 20 years towards a fulfilling career at CGC Drywall Canada, where he was admired for his unwavering work ethic, which he instilled in his children.
Brian dealt with several health obstacles in recent years but faced each challenge with strength and perseverance. His beloved wife Alyce consistently advocated and lovingly supported Brian through each of his challenges. Together they were a formidable team.
Brian will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to the Diabetes Canada (Manitoba), and The Heart of Stroke Foundation.
