Another year has gone by, and there isn't a day that you aren't thought of and missed.  Love auntie Janice

6 years ago today I got the worst news I’ve ever received. I had just put the baby down for a nap and my mom walked into our apartment. I was pissed at first cause I’m pretty sure I was fighting with her at the time. But she sat down on the couch next to me, and she said to me - Blaine was in an accident. And I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know what to think or say. And she sat there and told me what happened, she told me everything. She told me how they hadn’t found him yet. And cried, she couldn’t stop crying,but she was so brave, I can’t imagine how hard that was to have to give that news to anyone. And I remember not crying. I just sat there. I couldn’t cry, I had no emotion. I didn’t believe what I was hearing. I didn’t say anything to anyone. I went and laid on my bed. And I laid there for the rest of the day. And when night time came. I went into my baby girls room and I picked her up out of her crib, I sat in the rocking chair and rocked with her all night. And I cried. I cried so much I couldn’t even open my eyes. And my baby girl slept through it.  I’ll never forget the times I had with him. I’ll never forget his laugh. I’ll never forget his face, his loudness, his creativity, his voice, I’ll never forget him.  He was my best friend. He was there for me no matter what.. whatever it was, wherever or whenever it was. He was always there.  And although he hated 90% of the choices I made- he never gave up on me. And he didn’t let anyone ever hurt me, or wrong me. It’s hard to find someone as genuine and as selfless as he was in this world. And I am so lucky to have had him in my life for the first 24 years.  And I am so lucky my babies have an angel watching over them, everyday of their lives. 

Well another year has gone by,it is still so hard not having you here with us.I miss you. I know you are looking over us all,you are always in my heart.I hope uncle Tony has been spending time with you. when you see him again tell him I love and miss him I know when it is my time I will be joining you with open arms my love is with you both love always Auntie Renee

Well today it is 5 years since I lost my little brother. People say time flies, but it's been the longest 5 years of my life. Taking Max to visit your grave side tomorrow for the first time. Wish you were here to meet him. Can't believe how long it's been. To think - Haleigh was Max's age when you left us. I have only finally started to be able to talk about you aloud. Still not in front of everyone - mostly Haleigh and Max. And it still brings me to tears sometimes. I know you come and visit them - so that helps a lot. Anyways, as always, love and miss you every single day.

Sometimes we take things for granted until there gone. Always take the time to show the people you love and care for.

Another year has come and gone, since the day you passed away. Your memory has crossed my mind, at least once every day. I cannot begin to count, how many tears I've shed. Or the things I meant to say. All those words I left unsaid. Always you are in my thoughts. I love you so very dearly. More often I wish I'd told you. How much you mean to me. It breaks my heart in two. That your passing had to happen. You are the best little brother, A big sister could imagine.

I spent my morning looking back on things I had written after you passed. All the fun things we did, the cute and sweet things you did for me, and all the characteristics and silly querks that made you you. It makes me sad but at the same time it makes me happy. Happy that we had so many fun stories and good times. I am happy that I can look back on them and smile. You were absolutely hilarious. Made me laugh countless times. But at the same time you were so sweet and considerate and had such a good heart. You were so hardworking and you taught me a lot about life and I will never forget the things I learned from you. I would like to try and not be sad today, instead think of all the good memories I have, that can never be taken away. I would like to do something for you today so I am going fishing. As you know I probably wont catch one but that okay, I know you'll be with me and that's all I need.

Although we never actually met, I feel like I know your spirit through all the memories I have been told by your amazing family. They talk alot about you and what a great person you were. It makes me very sad that I never got to know you but please know that just because we didn't meet in person, doesn't mean that I can't have the deepest of sadness because you're gone. Your family is incredibly special to me and therefore, so are you!  Your picture hangs in Kemery's room because when she's old enough, we want her to feel like she knew you too!

A year has come and gone. It isn't getting any easier. But I am finding myself hanging out with your friends more and I like that. Haleigh is getting so big and smart, and I don't know if it's just me wanting to believe it or if it's real, but I find her pointing to your picture an awful lot as if she were telling me that you're here. I guess if I choose to believe it then that's all that matters. Sometimes when she wakes up she stands up and points to your picture on her dresser as if to tell me you were there in her dream, I ask her if Uncle Blaine visited her in her dream again and she just smiles. I find myself laughing a lot lately though just thinking about things you did, or we did or said. I try putting it into words out loud - even just to Haleigh, but I guess I'm still not ready to talk about you - cause every time I think about opening my mouth I start to tear up. I hope one day comes that it will be easier, until then- you are always in my thoughts and always on my mind. Love you always.

Today is my and Blaine's 3 year anniversary. I remember the day he asked me to be his girlfriend like it was last week. I couldn't believe how lucky I was that Blaine Letham wanted to be my boyfriend. From the moment I met him I liked everything about him, we had so much in common. 
     In the first year of our relationship I learned that Blaine was an honest, caring and hardworking person. He loved his family and friends and never took them for granted, he knew what was important in life. By our first anniversary I knew I wanted to marry him someday. He was the most amazing person I had ever met, and I still always considered myself super lucky that I had Blaine as a boyfriend, my partner in crime. On our first anniversary he took me to celebrations, we saw the Buddy Holly show, although neither of us actually knew who Buddy Holly was, we thought it must have been fate that he was a rock and roll legend, (because we both liked rock music). 
     On our second anniversary Blaine was settled into his house, he cooked me dinner after I got home from school. Blaine loved to cook and there was something about his food that was always extra delicious, I don't know whether it was the spices he used, or if it was because it was made with love, :) anything he cooked was always amazing. 
     Blaine taught me alot about life. 3 years ago on this day I had no idea how much Blaine would enrich my life, and now on this day of our 3 year anniversary, I know that I am still just as lucky as ever to have been able to fall in love with such an amazing person.
