Beverley Louise Calder Gulay

Beverley leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Bohdan (Bo) Gulay; children Charles of Winnipeg and Sheri-Dawn Banera (Steve) of Calgary; grandchildren Nicole, Derek, Delaney, Linden, Shelby and Leah and sister Marlene (John) Chabonneau.

She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Samuel Calder, brothers Harvey and Duncan, and sisters Dorothy and Agnes.

Bev was born in Dauphin, Manitoba and spent her childhood and youth in Clear Lake. She moved to Winnipeg at the age of 17 and lived with her sister Marlene. She worked as a secretary for a number of companies until she met dad. She loved to cook and garden and play bridge. She was a fantastic homemaker, wife and mother. Bev was a strong support for dad in his job as the president of a large international engineering company.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Interment will follow in Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the South Manitoba Palliative Care Team.
