Annie Louise Templeton

Passed away peacefully at the Concordia Hospital on February 12, 2014 at the age of 93. Mom, Granny, Great-Granny, Great-Great-Granny was born in Minitonas, MB on November 12, 1920. She was married April 30, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her seven children, Adrienne, Joyce, Benny (Donna), Margaret (Ron), Marie (Lynn), Reg (Louise) and Roxanne, nineteen grandchildren and spouses, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and spouses and two great-great grandchildren, one brother, Ben (Edna) Borley of Wpg. and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Andy, her parents, Albert and Alice Borley and Step-Mother Sadie, brothers Bert, Dan, John and sisters, Nellie and Millie, her first husband John Hogg, sons-in-law, Wally and Joe, great-grandson Mitchell.

Mom left Swan River, MB in approx. 1945 to start her new life and family in Wpg. She enjoyed many hours with her family, not to mention her years of sewing, making towels, dish cloths and many other crafts, bowling, going on cruises where she travelled from the east to west coast and gambling trips; she even loved to go on a few quad rides! She loved playing cards with family and her lady friends at Kildonan Manor. She was loved by many and called Granny by all who knew her.

Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Klassen Funeral Home with lunch to follow. Private family interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Manitoba Lung Association 629 McDermot Ave., Wpg., MB R3A 0C8.
